REJOICE IN THE UNRAVELING

by Laura Bradshaw

For some in the body of Christ it feels like things are unraveling. Fear, rejection, betrayal, and abandonment are right there whispering in your ear, bombarding you of their convincing lies.
The Lord wants you to look closely at what is going on. Look beyond the emotions and rejoice! He is doing a new thing in your life. This is the birthing of your answer to prayer.
God cannot bring in a new season while the old is still in progress. Hold on and watch it play out. You will be amazed at what he has for you!
Be careful not to listen to the lies of your emotions and fight through them with the promises of God through Scripture. Remember, it took the death of Jesus to birth the Church.

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be apparent to all. The Lord is near.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:4-9
