what we see now is likened to that of a shadow. What we are taught is faithfulness. Those that are faithful with little will be faithful with much. (Luke 16) He sees what we cannot and so it goes we are to fix our eyes not on what is seen but the unseen, what is eternal. What is ahead is far greater than anything we leave behind. This is an encouragement for those like me who at times feel saddened by what we see around us but know that this life is not all there is and what is seen only hints at the reality of what is AND what is to come. We have much to look forward to. For “No eye has seen, no ear has heard and no one’s heart has imagined all the things that God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
